Hello again, everyone! This is CEO100able, just blogging before the end of October 2021. If you've known about The Internet WayBack Machine Archive, a website for preserving Internet history, you might know that it was first created in 1996, but it wasn't launched to the public until October 24th, 2001. So this week has been 20th anniversary of the public launch of both The Internet WayBack Machine Archive and the Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows XP!
About my first time using The Internet WayBack Machine Archive, it all began in mid 2010 when I first discovered it in a comments section of a fan-made video of Sodor Island 3D Thomas & Friends content for the Trainz simulation video game series mentioning some discontinued UK Brand Lines ones being available on The Internet WayBack Machine Archive. When I first used, it was such an amazing experience! Sadly, I could not access all webpages because years earlier, people missed out on the opportunity to preserve enough of them. Throughout the rest of the 2010s decade, I had fun revisited webpages of official websites about Microsoft, YouTube, HP, Humongous Entertainment, and many more.
I didn't start archiving webpages anonymously until mid 2016 when I was selecting good news articles on MSN to preserve for years to come. At long last, I registered for a user account on there in 2020 (last year) so I could start publishing my own scans of discontinued things from over the years, such as promotional magazine pages of classic video games, cards of NASCAR vehicles and their respective drivers, etc.
